[OTR-users] otr proxy problems with german umlaute

Hallo,

Can anyone help me with following problem:

Sending German Umlaute like 'äöüÖÄÜ' over the OTR Proxy does not work
correctly.

A friend sent e.g. 'Blää' (which does not make any sense) and I receive
'BlÃ¶Ã¶' wich is quite ugly to look at.
Tested with OTR Proxy 0.3.0 und Trillian 0.74 and 3.1 Basic using SOCKS5
Proxy. The rest works fine for me.

Is this bug already known?
Any workaround?
