[OTR-dev] pidgin-otr doesn't work out of the box in ubuntu intrepid

Hello,

pidgin-otr doesn't work out of the box in ubuntu-intrepid.

To make it work:
I got the source of the pidgin package and then ran configure.

Then I edited the Makefile to have:

debug:
	$(MAKE) all "CXXFLAGS=-g -DDEBUG"

Then I ran make all debug

and then make install.

Now it works.  So is there a timing issue in the plugin? Any ideas on
what could be wrong?
