[OTR-users] Some messages are lost via XMPP with OTR & Pidgin

 I've been using OTR for Pidgin messaging for years, and recently gave up on AIM's service and moved to google XMPP.<br><br>Recently, quite often the first couple messages are not received by the recipient and there is nothing letting me (the sender) know that they didn't get the IM(s).<br><br>It seems like OTR is not automatically refreshing a private conversation with the recipient, even though I swear in the past (either using AIM or OTR v3.x) it did this just fine.<br><br>Is there any way I can figure out more details and potentially resolve this issue? It is really infuriating the unreliability of messaging this issues is causing me.<br><br>Here's an example conversation log showing that sometimes msgs don't get sent but nothing is shown to sender:<br><br>http://pastebin.com/drSVQSsb<br><br>I'm using OTR v4.0.0.1, pidgin 2.10.7 on Win7x64 SP1. I often have 2 active pidgin sessions (one laptop & one desktop).<br><br>I can easily dig up logs or run debugging info if anyone offers help and needs additional information.
