It is indeed confusing, one menu item is text, the other graphic.
In my case, both contained same items. (during a private conversation
with someone).

Can this be related to a buddy having associated more then one ID? even
so, I didn't see anything in the UI to suggest any connection to this
scenario. (I assume I should've seen menu items saying about the other
ID's that they are not on private)
