Fix your resource priorities. Or tell the user to explicitly send to
one resource. Auto-adjusting the resource priority to the status is a
good idea and nearly every client supports that.
In Jabber, a message always gets to the highest resource when sent to
the bare JID. If there is no highest resource because for example two
habe the same, it is sent to all that share the highest resource. For
example, A is 50, B is 50 and C is 30, A and B will get the message
when sent to the bare JID.
