[OTR-users] Where in GAIM's folders do the compiled plug-ins go?

Dear Fellow users,

I have finally figured out how to configure and successfully compile the latest
OTR plugin for GAIM 1.5. However, the plugin does not show up in GAIM's
plug-ins menu in the Options window. Where is Gaim looking for plugins by
default? Is there a config file I can edit or should I just copy the OTR plugin
files from their default 'make install' location to /path/to/gaim/search/folder
?
