Hello,

We are writing to understand the OTR encryption methods.  It strikes me
that an application which purports to provide secure chat should
provide forward secrecy for years to come from brute-force
cryptanalysis.

Can someone confirm that OTR uses AES-256 bit cipher in CTR mode, with
keys derived from diffie-hellman key exchange using a 1536 bit prime
group?
