[OTR-dev] Pidgin + Yahoo not support SMP?

I just ran a pidgin to pidgin via yahoo test of SMP.  It doesn't 
seem to work with the MSS set to 799 or to 640 using the method I 
described in my previous email.  Alice and Bob have a private 
(authenticated) conversation.  Alice and Bob are able to send each 
other 2000 character IMs which OTR seems to encrypt, fragment, 
reassemble, and decrypt correctly.  Alice does "Authenticate buddy" 
and uses "Type the word secret" as the question and "secret" as the 
answer.  Bob enters secret when prompted, presses the authenticate 
button.  Both Alice and Bob see a progress bar dialog box that 
remains stalled.  I have not run the test in a 3-men-in-the-middle 
configuration so I have no data on the actual messages sent and 
received.
