Hey whats up? I'm new on the list. I joined cuz someone over on #tor @ 
irc.oftc.net suggested the otr mailing list might be the best option.

I'm looking for what the most up to date otr plugin for Thunderbird is. 
It seems like most plugins haven't been updated in a while.

Indeed, no one's actively worked on otr plugins for a while, I'm afraid.

Hi,

I have done work fairly recently on a fork of otr4j with OTRv4 support (Java, <https://github.com/otr4j/otr4j>) and a rust-implementation of OTR 3+4 (<https://github.com/cobratbq/otrr>). However, these are not full plug-ins, but instead libraries that implement the OTR protocol versions.

Given that these are not adopted/reviewed, it is hard to provide any significant indication of quality other than that care was taken during their implementation. These can provide a starting point for plug-ins interested in implementing OTR.
