[OTR-users] cannot display custom smileys

Hi,
as the subject says, I experience a wrong handling of the custom smileys.

Using pidgin-otr, when I chat over XMPP I am able to receive custom
smileys only when the conversation is not private, the placeholder text
is displayed otherwise.

I don't know if I should have filed a bug here or in the pidgin
bugtracker so... I asked here first :-p

I am using Pidgin 2.10.9 (libpurple 2.10.9) + OTR 4.0.0
