There's unfortunately no secure way to do this.  The other party can
always tweak his/her software to lie.  And if it's not secure, I
wouldn't want to display a possibly false fact to the user.  (At best we
could say something like, "Bob claims not to be logging this
conversation.", but that's really clunky.)
