Hi Ian et al

Happy to chip in with Hungarian translation. Am a native Hungarian and write web specs as a job in English.

Haven't done much translation apart from a small plugin years ago so would welcome some pointers.

Let me know next steps.
Bests

We're in a beta period for pidgin-otr-4.0.0 right now. One thing that's
still missing are translations of some new strings that appear in the
plugin.

If you're interested in filling in one of the existing translations
(especially if you were the original translator for some language), or
if you'd like to add a new translation, please let us know right away.
If you've never done translation for a program before, we can help with
that as well.

Here are the languages that need filled-in translations:

ar Arabic
de German
es Spanish
fr French
hu Hungarian
it Italian
nl Dutch
pl Polish
ru Russian
sk Slovak
sv Swedish
vi Vietnamese

And, of course, a complete translation for any other language would also
be great!

Thanks,

  - Ian

I'd love to help with Bulgarian language.
What's the infrastructure used to translate in this project?
Are you using Launchpad, Babelzilla or any other translation site?

We're currently still a little more old-fashioned, I'm afraid. We're
doing the intltool (editing .po files) method. I'm willing to consider
one of the online systems if someone can show me how they work. ;-)

Thanks,

  - Ian

Hej, I can offer my German skills if you find no one else.. I don't usually
translate things like this (or any at all), but if you have previous
translations, I'm sure I can adapt to the used expressions.

We've had a volunteer for German already, actually, but thanks!

That's fine by me. I have used .po translation tools.
Do I just check-out the .po files and send a patch with the translations?
