[OTR-users] [bug] Pidgin does not notify of new unencrypted messages while encrypting

Maybe we can resolve our conversion and figure out a plan of action.  This bug annoys me practically every day.

I agree it would be good to fix.  Is there a way to get pidgin to
display a message that's clearly distinguishable from a received
message, yet still trigger the notification?
