[OTR-users] no debs?

What's going on?  Why aren't there any deb packages for the new OTR
software?  I'm on Ubuntu and I keep throwing a fit in the forums trying to
get them to update from the 2.0 series to 3.0 and they always give me some
lame answer about their not being any deb packages.  I'd do it but I don't
know how.  Anyone up for it?
