The RFC will just codify the current OTR specification, which does have
a property for generating a (temporary) symmetric key to use for
encryption of bulk data, such as audio/video and files.

The implementation of that is client and IM protocol specific though. I
don't think we can specify much (perhaps only something for XMPP?)
