Thought some of you might appreciate the current state of OTR
key/verification syncing between desktop and mobile XMPP clients.
This is mostly due to Hans-Christoph' hard work over the last year
plus, which is spelled out in this readme:

Also, in case you didn't know this before, this release now supports
KeySync (otherwise known as OtrFileConverter) and it is working quite
well.
We still need to package up KeySync as a nice, simple install for Win,
Mac and Linux, but most of you can probably get it working from the
README on the repo:
https://github.com/guardianproject/otrfileconverter
Here's the brief rundown:
1) Run the otrfileconverter command line, with the proper in and out
args. For example, as a Pidgin user, you would run:
./otrfileconverter -i pidgin -o gibberbot
This produces an encrypted portable keystore called "otr_keystore.ofcaes"
2) Using adb or drag-n-drop, copy the output file to the /sdcard/
adb push otr_keystore.ofcaes /sdcard/
3) Open ChatSecure to the "Accounts" screen, and select the "Import
OTR Keystore" menu
4) Follow the instructions to open the Barcode Scanner app, to scan in
the strong QR code password output from step #1 above
5) The barcode app should return and you should receive a "success"
message.
6) Start an OTR chat with a contact you have verified in your desktop
app, and you should now be verified also in ChatSecure.
7) Celebrate, because the future just got a little brighter!
