[OTR-dev] otr in java

hey everyone, i'm thinking of porting otr to java. i searched the archives,
and it looks like people have thought about doing this but no one has taken
the initiative yet.  before i get started, i wanted to make sure i am not
stepping on any toes, or duplicating any work, so... anyone know of an
existing effort to port otr to java? if not, any advice before i get
started? :) anyone interested in helping if i actually get my act
together???
