Check out AIM over the Web. You need to have Java installed, but if you already do or can install it, <br>
go to <a href="http://toc.oscar.aol.com">http://toc.oscar.aol.com</a>, and enter your credentials in. Voila!<br>

It's not as functional as the full client (you won't get a flashing window popup when you get a new message)<br>
but it'll do in a pinch.<br>
